5 WAYS TO DECLUTTER YOUR OFFICE SPACE

Most of us feel as if we need everything in our office – and maybe we do! So how do we make it more comfortable without all the clutter?

  1. Start Small

Organizing isn’t fun for most of us – so start small.  Begin with one stack. Go through each piece of paper – file or toss.

  1. Organize Cords

Can you go cordless with some of your things?  For the cords left, coil and bundle them with a rubber band, zip tie or tape. Hide the power strip and plgus. Getting a handle on your cords will immediately make your space feel better!

  1. BuyStorage

Purchase a few storage bins or another file cabinet.  Use a shoebox or any box you happen to have around the house to begin placing similar items together.  This will make it organized and easier to find later.

  1. Clean Out Drawers

Clean out all the drawers – Do you need everything in that drawer? Organize or toss the old things of no use in the drawers and put the things sitting on your desk in the drawers.

  1. Purchase Pinboard

All those little pieces of paper all over your desk can go up on the pinboard! You’ll be able to find them and your desktop will be much cleaner.
